Coolum Theatre Players are pleased to offer a hands-on sound workshop at the Coolum Civic Centre, led by Mitch Dand.
This practical session will introduce participants to the fundamentals of sound for the stage, including an overview of sound equipment, basic principles, programming cues, and microphone placement for performance. The workshop will also cover simple troubleshooting techniques to build confidence when operating sound during a production.
Suitable for beginners or anyone looking to expand their technical theatre skills, this workshop provides a supportive environment to learn and gain practical experience.

What begins as frivolous note sharing between childhood friends, unfolds into a lifelong love affair via the art of letter writing.
Rebellious Melissa and straitlaced Andrew pour their hearts on to the page bonding over experiences of angst-ridden boarding schools, travel adventures, career ambitions and failed relationships. Young infatuation transforms into a complicated romance, as fate is not on their side.
A.R. Gurney’s Pulitzer Prize nominated Love Letters envelopes the audience in an air of shared nostalgia. Lisa Blair and Sean McDermott deliver an evocative, heart-warming story of star-crossed lovers, stamped with moments of tender humour. Not to be missed.

A rag-tag group of quirky, diverse, mis-matched female soldiers, stationed at the International Forces “Camp Firebird” (Training Camp), must band together to stage a morale-boosting Parade Drill to impress a visiting general.
