Announcing the cast of Motherhood the Musical, following a successful audition process, the 4 leads are:
- Amy, is Erin Low from Brisbane (who played Sister Amnesia in our production of Nunsense in 2014) – a naive young woman about to have her first child;
- Brooke, is Susie Bushnell (from North Lakes) – a hard working lawyer who barely sees her kids;
- Barb, is Amanda Zinn (well known from Caloundra Chorale) a stressed out mother of five, and
- Tasha, is Lou Lou McDonald (a Sunshine Coast actress) a single mother seeking to balance work, her family and a divorce.
Julia Loaney, last seen as grandma in Addams Family, makes a cameo appearance as as Amy’s mother – not 102 years old in this one!
Thanks to all the females who came along to audition, both Director Jennifer Rousset and Musical Director JR had a difficult decision-making process due to the high standard of talent.
