After many years in the planning, with community consultations and Council meetings, the renovated Coolum Civic Centre was officially opened by Cr Steve Robinson and Bendigo Bank Marcoola Branch Manager Judy Blackall on Tuesday 29th September 2015.
As a regular venue user since 1988, Coolum Theatre Players certainly had something to sing about! Vice President Chris McMahon opened the formalities with an appropriately scripted rendition of Ethel Merman’s powerful number, “Everything’s Coming Up Roses”.
