About Turina Marchant
Growing up in Canada, Turina always had a love of the arts. She was lucky enough to have a mentor at a very young age who nurtured her artistic talent. After receiving a scholarship in year 12 she completed her Diploma of Graphic Design in British Columbia. Turina has lived in Australia for 25 years and in Coolum with her family for 20 of those years. She runs Vivid Graphics Art which is a graphic design studio that has a reputation for creating designs that inspire. “I feel so fortunate that I can do what I love to do and make a living from it as well. My passion is painting, whether it be on canvas, paper, board, sides of buildings or furniture. If I’m not on the computer designing, you will find me at my easel”. Turina has always been involved in charity work, being one of the founding members of the Coolum Kite Festival, and donating paintings to Give Me 5 for Kids each year. It gives her immense pleasure to help the community through her creativity. “I believe that if you truly LOVE what you do then you will excel in it. Be true to yourself and your passion. Your unique personality and style in life is what will make YOUR work different to others”. You can see more of her paintings or contact her via her website www.vividgraphicsart.com
